We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented scheduler to join our incredible team. As a Surgery Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of scheduling patients for surgery. This role will provide a high level of service in order to schedule procedures from physician according to established guidelines. A top candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities Scheduling Surgical operations with excellence and care Provide a high level of service to patients Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to the appropriate Assist with medical administrative tasks including insurance verification and billing Obtaining pre-operative clearance and medical records Providing patients with directions before and after surgery. Experience Proven experience in a Surgery Scheduler role Familiarity with office procedures and phone systems Knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support Experience working in a medical office setting, Podiatry experience preferred Excellent organizational skills.
