We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Line Cook to join our medium-sized kitchen team at a busy breakfast and lunch cafe. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong knife skills, and easily follow verbal instructions to prepare quality dishes. This role requires reliability and attention to kitchen safety and cleanliness during the Tuesday through Sunday shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently and accurately
- Handle knives and kitchen tools safely and proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate effectively with a team of 4-6 cooks
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a line cook in a restaurant setting
