Temporary / On-Call Law Firm Receptionist
West Palm Beach, FL | On-Site | As Needed

A busy law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking a reliable, professional Temporary / On-Call Receptionist to provide front desk coverage on an as-needed basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible work who can be available to cover vacations, sick days, and other planned or unexpected absences.

There is no guaranteed schedule or minimum number of hours. Candidates must be comfortable accepting assignments with varying amounts of notice and be interested in maintaining a long-term working relationship for future coverage needs.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Maintain the reception area and conference rooms
Accept deliveries and distribute incoming mail
Assist with scanning, filing, copying, and other administrative tasks
Provide general office support as needed

Qualifications

Previous receptionist or administrative experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional office
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new office procedures quickly and work independently
Dependable, punctual, and flexible

Availability Requirements

Must be available to work on an on-call, as-needed basis
Able to cover planned vacations as well as last-minute sick-day absences
No guarantee of hours or regular schedule
Seeking candidates interested in remaining available for long-term, ongoing coverage assignments
