You'll work closely with the Property Manager and become an important part of keeping the community running smoothly while providing excellent service to residents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responding to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues
• Troubleshooting problems and determining the best repair solutions
• Turning apartment homes quickly and efficiently for new residents
• Assisting with preventative maintenance programs
• Maintaining the overall appearance and curb appeal of the property
• Communicating professionally with residents regarding maintenance updates
• Working with vendors and team members to complete projects
• Using a tablet or mobile device to manage work orders and document completed work
• Helping ensure supplies and materials are available when needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, hotel maintenance, or property management maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and stay organized throughout the day
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to provide your own hand tools

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position that requires:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Climbing ladders
• Bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces
• Lifting up to 75 pounds
