Position Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver (Part Time), Omaha, NE Pay Rate: $19.74 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sunday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government-related location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas, checking credentials and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols and post instructions. Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
