Description:
The Nuclear Medicine Tech is responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures.
They prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with established protocols.
The tech is required to maintain accurate records of administered doses and patient history.
They must work closely with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques and methods.
The role requires knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment and procedures, along with a commitment to patient care.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and medical staff.
Adherence to safety protocols and ethical guidelines is imperative in this role.
Continuous education and competency validation are expected for maintaining skills and knowledge in the field.
