Enhanced Sign-On Bonus

Per Diem travelers considered

Level II NICU with plans to advance to Level III designation

Average daily census of 5

On-site physician coverage 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.; NNP coverage 2 p.m. – 8 a.m. with physician call-in (30-minute response time)

Full-time schedule with equitable call rotation

Supported by hospital-based Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated NICU nursing team

Practice within a modern Women & Newborn Center featuring spacious birthing suites, midwife-assisted deliveries, and couplet care

Candidate Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology

Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain

Organization Description

Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
