You apply established medical knowledge to guide patient care, respond to emergencies, and support the work of treatment teams. As a Staff Physician 2, you will perform the following duties:Physical Examinations: Perform admission and annual physical and neurological assessments and review patient records to form diagnoses and treatment plansDaily Treatment: Render medical care by conducting daily rounds, ordering diagnostic studies, reviewing results, and providing follow-up careEmergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies within required timeframes and initiate appropriate medical actions based on hospital proceduresCare Coordination: Collaborate with psychiatrists and treatment teams to integrate medical goals into patient plans and maintain clear communicationMedical Documentation: Maintain complete records of diagnoses, treatments, assessments, and clinical decisions to ensure regulatory complianceClinical Collaboration: Consult with families, agencies, and external medical professionals to support patient care while maintaining confidentialityInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Qualifications:Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.You must possess a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:You must pass a background investigation.A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
