Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, specializing in critical care for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients including those with CHF, respiratory distress, and post-cath procedures.
• Monitor and manage chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and femoral arterial sheaths.
• Administer and manage drips such as diltiazem, amiodarone, and nitro.
• Participate in weekend rotation duties as scheduled.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment; not open to first-time travelers.
