Description Administers and enforces LaneÂs safety program, leading accident prevention efforts to achieve company and project safety goals. Conducts work area assessments and jobsite audits, focusing on hazard recognition, unsafe behaviors, and corrective actions. Develops, organizes, and implements safety initiatives and programs that align with LaneÂs standards and regulatory requirements. Mentors, coaches, and evaluates safety employees, providing feedback and performance assessments. Develops and delivers training programs. Leads safety orientations, toolbox talks, and project-specific meetings to ensure effective communication across crews and subcontractors. Participates in regulatory inspections and investigations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and client requirements. Supports incident investigations and corrective action tracking to prevent recurrence. Performs other duties as assigned.
