Mental Health Therapist

Nirwana Health is looking for a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our growing mental health team.

We are building a patient-centered therapy program focused on making mental health care simple, accessible, and personal. All therapy sessions are provided 100% through telehealth .

What You’ll Do

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to patients
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• individual, couples, and family therapy
• Provide grief counseling and emotional support
• Support patients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and other mental health concerns
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate
• Coordinate with other members of the care team when needed
• Follow HIPAA, professional ethics, and applicable clinical requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Active, unrestricted LMHC license
• Eligible to independently provide therapy in the state(s) where patients are located
• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field
• Experience providing individual therapy
• Couples and family therapy experience preferred
• Comfortable providing care through telehealth
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient-first approach
• Reliable and comfortable working independently in a virtual environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, stress, and life transitions
• Experience with evidence-based therapy approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed care
• Familiarity with insurance documentation and billing requirements
• Current NPI and CAQH profile preferred
