Program Manager

The purpose of this position is to assist, implement, and manage DEED's efforts to support the Office of Childcare and Community Services. This will include: Minnesota’s Child Care economic development initiatives Minnesota’s Energy Transition office Work in these areas will include grant administration, interagency coordination, program/policy development and implementation, technical assistance, reviewing and ranking projects, grant management, and project closeout. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading the coordination of the childcare grant application review and administration processes, including facilitating meetings and communications with managers and other appropriate staff Designing, developing, and maintaining program promotional and informational materials and coordinate effective communication of services, program requirements, and policies and procedures to interested parties Performing other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager, Directors, and Commissioner’s office requests as those relate to grant making and programming This position requires travel a few times per month for meetings and grant visits. This position will be based out of the St. Paul office and may be eligible for some telework. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment.
