Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Primary Care Physician for a health plan in Tucson, AZ. This is a full-time position with a salary and great benefits package.

Job Responsibilities:

\n
• Providing comprehensive primary medical care and treatment to patients within the specified scope of practice.
\n
• Conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing appropriate medications and treatments.
\n
• Evaluating, managing, and coordinating healthcare services for patients, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
\n
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with patients to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient history, examination results, and treatment plans.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide coordinated and patient-centered care.
\n
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
\n
• Staying updated with medical advancements and best practices in primary care.
\n

Essential Qualifications:

\n
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
\n
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
\n
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting.
\n

Desired Experience:

\n
• Possess at least 1-3 years of experience as a Primary Care Physician
\n
• Experience in managing chronic diseases and acute conditions in a primary care setting.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
\n
• Experience in providing comprehensive preventive care and health promotion services.
\n
