As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc. Benefits Site Location: Springfield, VA Set schedule: Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off could vary and weekends are required. This is a floater schedule. Would not guarantee full time hours. A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Qualifications Be authorized to work in the U.S. Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Pass an extensive screening process Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement Have a state license if required Have a DCJS Virginia Security License Be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements Experience utilizing CCTV monitoring Complete 16hrs on site training Pass an MVR Be able to walk long distance Virginia Licensure 11-6404 Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
