Details Outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic setting Day shift schedule 13-week assignment Uses EMR for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries Requirements Active state license as a Physical Therapist required (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of experience required Degree in Physical Therapy required Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist with patient transfers and mobility Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods during 8-10 hour work days Computer skills including typing, Word, Internet, and EMR use required Additional Information Responsible for evaluating and treating patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs Supervises PT Assistants and Aides in patient care Communicates with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care Maintains accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations Works closely with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up Familiarity with PT billing policies including Medicare, workers' comp, private, auto, and liens Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services Complies with HIPAA and OSHA regulations No travel required for this position American Traveler Job ID P-750599.
