Production Designer

Penta is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Production Designer to join our team. This hybrid role involves both design and production studio responsibilities, with a significant focus on ensuring the visual consistency and quality of client presentations, marketing materials, and various creative projects.

The Production Designer is expected to:

• Collaborate with designers and creative directors to execute concepts within established design systems for client brands
• Work on a variety of creative projects, including book layouts, icons and logos, t-shirts, postcards and invites, posters and ads, large format OOH, infographics, and templates across multiple programs
• Ensure consistency in fonts, text placement, photo treatment, and overall visual quality in presentation decks ranging from 30 to 150 slides
• Enhance client decks with visually interesting elements and rebuild data information and charts to improve presentation quality
• Version out digital banners, print ads, and other files, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines
• Rebuild files in the appropriate programs, checking for errors and ensuring correct setup.
• Maintain major attention to detail, catching all edits and inconsistencies in client materials
• Contribute to the revitalization of brands and help establish new design rules under the direction of senior designers

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in a production design role, preferably within a creative agency or similar environment
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and presentation tools like Google Slides and Powerpoint
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency across various materials
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
• The ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and independently manage tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with data visualization and infographics is a plus
• The ability to create HTML5 animations using Google Web Designer and GIF animations using Photoshop is highly preferred

Salary Range: The base salary range for this position will be $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on a candidate's experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location and Remote Schedule: This position is for US-based personnel and is fully remote. Core hours for the role will be 11 am - 5 pm ET. Regardless of geolocation, everyone on the team is expected to work an eight hour day and be online during this window, excluding standard lunch and break times.
