Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year, depending on experience
Additional Compensation: Project-based performance bonus opportunity
Reports To: Project Manager and Director of Operations

Are you the person who keeps projects moving, spots problems before they become expensive, and isn't afraid to get involved on-site?

Ishita Interiors is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help bring luxury residential design projects to life across the Greater Asheville area.

This is a hands-on project role , not a desk-only coordinator position. You'll work alongside the Project Manager, design team, contractors, and trades to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and up to standard.

$60,000 – $65,000

• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and trades

• Help manage project schedules, deadlines, and dependencies

• Support construction bidding and review contractor proposals

• Track budgets, change orders, and project documentation

• Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress

• Review plans and specifications and flag potential issues

• Help solve delays, scheduling conflicts, and site challenges

• Support quality control, punch lists, and final project delivery

• Keep clients and internal teams informed throughout the project

• 3+ years of experience in construction, remodeling, interior design, architecture, or project coordination

• Comfortable working with contractors and trades

• Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, bids, and change orders

• Able to read floor plans and construction documents

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• A proactive problem solver who looks for solutions

• Confident communicator who can hold people accountable

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Located in or near Greater Asheville, NC
