Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN licensure (New York State)
• Minimum of one year of experience in an Emergency Department setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively
• Experience with electronic medical records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and provide emergency nursing interventions to patients with a wide range of acute medical and trauma conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs and quickly respond to changes in patient status
• Provide clear documentation and patient education
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety procedures, and infection control standards
