Job Description This position has been allocated for a board certified or eligible physician. About this role Full‑time Hospitalist (days) Physician‑created schedule allowing time off flexibility Average patient census per day is 13-15 9 daytime rounders Facility: referral center for trauma and emergency services; medical‑surgical units, a 34‑bed closed ICU, a 42‑bed emergency department, and 8 operating rooms. Position Highlights 1:1 Hospitalist to Nurse Coordinator. Dedicated nurse coordinator for rounding, interdisciplinary care coordination, discharging patients, family phone call updates, etc. Collaborative team approach to patient care. Monthly team meetings to review best practice. Clinical council to discuss group needs, policies, barriers. Strong Medical Directors leadership/support. Night shifts covered by nocturnist team.
