Job Description As a Security Officer Financial Institution in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee credentials, and maintain required entry and exit documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
