Med/Surg RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) with every other weekend required. 3x12 schedules may also be considered.

The Med/Surg RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on the management and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg unit.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years Med/Surg RN experience required.
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Travel experience is mandatory; first-time travelers will not be considered.
