This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Technicians work independently in the field, ensuring kitchen equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support business continuity.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, hot cases, etc.)Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operationsTest components and verify proper operation after repairsAccurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company systemClearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customersManage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stockedRespond to service calls in a timely and professional mannerRepresent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer serviceFollow all safety regulations and company policiesParticipate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunitiesParticipate in on-call rotation as assignedQualifications3-5+ years of experience with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, hot cases, etc.)Valid driver's license with a clean driving record requiredStrong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experienceSolid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical componentsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditionsAbility to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quartersOwn industry standard hand toolsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation as neededCompensation TransparencyThe advertised pay range for this position is $35-$42. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
