Role Description The Athletic Trainer at SPIRE Academy is a full-time, on-site role based in Geneva, OH. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive athletic training services to student-athletes across multiple sports, including injury assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of rehabilitation programs. The Athletic Trainer will design and implement injury prevention and strength & conditioning strategies, support practice and competition coverage, and maintain accurate medical records. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with coaches, sports performance staff, healthcare providers, and families to ensure safe participation and optimal performance. The role also involves educating student-athletes on health, recovery, and performance best practices while contributing to a culture of safety, resilience, and professionalism. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation to assess, treat, and manage sports-related injuries. Strong ability in Injury Prevention and Prevention-focused planning to reduce risk and support long-term athlete health. Experience with Strength & Conditioning principles to support performance enhancement and safe return-to-play. Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and eligibility for or possession of state licensure in Ohio. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, or a related field. Experience working with youth or collegiate-level athletes in a high-performance or academy environment. Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills with athletes, coaches, families, and medical professionals. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, aligned with training and competition demands. #J-18808-Ljbffr
