We are currently recruiting to fill the following position:Job DescriptionPRIDE IndustriesJob: Work Force Inclusion Employment CoachJob Code: AA013 - PR-WrkfIncl Empl CoachHR Title Group: Workforce InclusionSalary Grade: N15FLSA Status: Non-ExemptApproval Date: August 2022Supervises: There are no direct reports with this position.Position Summary: The Employment Coach provides tailored and individualized job coaching for people with disabilities to ensure access, success, and retention within competitive integrated employment position(s).Typical Duties:Coach and train the necessary skills to be successful in the workplaceCoach and train with learning and performing the essential functions of job tasksDevelop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with service providers to communicate progress towards goal(s)Assist in maintaining case files and related paperwork as required by PRIDE Industries and supporting agenciesPerform duties and special projects as assigned* Denotes Essential Job FunctionMinimum Qualifications:Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation softwareAbility to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, written, and presentation softwareDemonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problemsDemonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibilityExperience working with adults with disabilities preferredEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or GEDCertificates Required: The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:CPR/First AidValid Driver's LicensePhysical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:Viewing computer screen/monitorKeyboardingManeuvering to and around equipmentBending, kneeling, stooping, and reachingMoving or lifting boxes up to 25 pounds(For some positions) Transporting to various locations within customer site(s) as neededWork Environment: Work is performed in a hybrid environment, including an office environment, customer worksite, and community environments with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise.
