divh2IV Pharmacist Partners Pharmacy New Jersey/h2pGreat new career opportunity in long-term care pharmacy!/ppHours: Monday - Friday 3 days per week 3pm-11:30pm, every other weekend; 2 major and 1 minor holiday/ppThe pharmacist will be responsible for, but not limited to:/polliAssist and direct support staff in the production and dispensing of medication orders to facilities and residents/liliPractice appropriate drug utilization review and follow up/liliCoding (data entry) and checking orders/liliVerification of orders/liliAnswer calls and heavy customer service to facilities/liliAccept and dispense prescription medications/liliProvide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions/liliCompound medications for external or internal use/liliMonitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns/liliSupervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc./liliMaintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies/liliSecurity of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times and the reporting of any thefts and/or diversions of controlled substances to the supervisor/liliNo misbranded, deteriorated, adulterated, improperly stored or outdated drugs or any drugs marked sample or with any like designation or meaning are dispensed or present in the active stock in the pharmacy/liliAccurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed are maintained/li/olpEducation:/ppBachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD/ppProfessional experience:/pulliMust be a state registered pharmacist/lili1+ years of pharmacist experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliStrong interpersonal/li/ul/div
