Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in Richmond, Virginia. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a surgical, neuro, or trauma ICU setting, with a focus on six patient care. The position requires adherence to the facility's dress code and work schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond, Virginia
• Shift: Night shift
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); experience working with ICU equipment, ventilators, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring; proficiency with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; ability to work in an ICU/Step-down unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, or Trauma ICU setting; prior experience with trauma, vascular, abdominal, or neuro surgical procedures.
• Additional Information: Unit bed capacity is 12 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1; typical procedures include trauma, vascular, abdominal, and neuro surgeries; floating area may include ICU and Step-down units; dress code is navy scrubs; work schedule includes every other weekend with no on-call responsibilities.
• Position Type: One full-time ICU nurse position in Richmond, VA, starting on 07/27/2026.
