Job Summary:
The location is Seattle, Washington. This is an Interventional Cardiac / Procedure Unit Nurse position. The role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures, with a focus on managing cardiac telemetry, drips, sheath removal, and post-procedure patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), at least 2 years of experience in interventional cardiac patient care, with travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system and previous charge nurse or lead roles.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with flexibility to various units involved in interventional cardiac care.
• Additional Information:
  • Heavy on interventional cardiac patients, procedures, IV skills, sheath pull experience, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
  • Responsibilities include managing cardiac telemetry, stable drips, sheath removal, and performing post-procedure patient assessments.
  • Equipment and procedures include TEE, cardioversion, blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, epicardial pacer management, sheath removal, tele-interpretation, heparin, and insulin management.
  • Must submit two references covering at least one year within the last three years, prior to start.
  • Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
