SHIFT HOURS:

1st Shift:  5:00 am - 1:30 pm Monday to Friday

2nd Shift: 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm Monday to Friday

3rd Shift: 9:00 pm - 5:30 am Sunday to Thursday (Sundays start earlier)

 

PURPOSE:

To move ingredients, components and finished products when/where they are needed, controlling through rotation, scheduling and efficiency of usage.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load/unload trucks and receive ingredients.
• Provide ingredients and components to production workers as scheduled or as requested.
• Rotate all stock of ingredients and components by date and need for production schedule.
• Pull product in quantities to accurately match requisitions.
• Complete daily physical inventories as assigned.
• Input and track inventory levels on the computer system.
• Temper ingredients/components.
• Clean and organize storage areas.
• Maintain assigned work areas.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver's license preferred and can result in better earning potential.
• At least six months of prior experience working in a warehouse/Material Handler role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in operating powered equipment and ability to safely operate powered equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel; ability to set up an Excel spreadsheet and manipulate the data within it.
• Strong mathematical skills; must pass in-house math aptitude test.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness and availability to work frequent overtime.
• Strong record-keeping and listening skills.
• Must be able to fully communicate in English without assistance (read, write and converse) in order to receive written and verbal job and safety instructions, comprehend hazardous material labeling, and report inventory transactions.
