The State of Michigan is looking for a Business Analyst 5 Max Bill : NA - Will close submissions on: 10/15 at 10am EST - Interview Process: 1st round virtual, 2nd round in-person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview. - Duration: 6 months, with the intent to potentially hire the contractor into a full-time position with SOMI within 6 months. Job Description: DTMB Agency Services needs a Business Analyst 5 to provide excellent customer service, supporting primarily project needs for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Agency. Key responsibilities include being the liaison between DTMB and the project stakeholders, as well as providing expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for planned enhancements and technology updates on a public facing application used to communicate current availability of burn permits in Michigan counties. In addition, as part of the overall support for DNR, this person will be a critical member of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team, participating in various related work requests for DNR and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team. Customer service and being a champion to ease Agency compliance with DTMB policies and practices are key performance expectations for this person. They must be able to quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers and help DNR navigate those for the success for their projects and work requests.
