In-Home Caregiver
Job Summary
Upscale Home Care, a leading provider of in-home care services, is seeking a compassionate and experienced In-Home Caregiver to join our team of caregivers in Scottsdale, AZ. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in empowering veterans and seniors to thrive in the comfort of their own homes. We offer a rewarding and challenging environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one care to our clients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management
Support clients with mobility and mobility-related needs, including transferring, ambulating, and providing range-of-motion exercises
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry duties
Engage clients in meaningful activities, such as conversation, reading, and watching movies, to promote socialization and mental stimulation
Document client care and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with our care coordination team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry or a related field
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient approach when working with clients
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
