What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you'll play a key role in producing precision aerospace components while ensuring quality, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and adjust CNC Mills, Lathes, and Multi-Axis Machines
• Perform machine offsets and tooling changes
• Load raw materials and install tooling
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions
• Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Use precision measuring equipment, including:
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Gauges
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make offset corrections as needed
• Accurately maintain production and inspection records
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
• Partner with Engineering, Programming, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes

Required Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience operating CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes
• Ability to perform tooling changes and machine offsets
• Experience operating multiple CNC machines simultaneously
• Experience working to tight aerospace tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Multi-Axis CNC Equipment
• Aerospace Manufacturing Experience
• Familiarity machining aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
• Ability to troubleshoot machines and make minor program adjustments
