Work Environment\n

This remote position allows therapists to engage with clients in an outpatient setting, providing flexibility while ensuring high-quality mental health support. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., fostering a structured yet accommodating work atmosphere. All necessary tools and technology will be provided to facilitate seamless communication and therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that honor client needs, goals, and personal preferences, ensuring the best path to recovery.

• Employ evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective therapeutic results.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them in their journey.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advances in mental health treatment methodologies to enhance patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you will engage with vulnerable groups needing support, including individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your role will be pivotal in helping these clients navigate their mental health challenges and work towards recovery and stability.

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
