As a Security Guard Unarmed Driver Patrol in Delphi, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you may use a vehicle while conducting routine patrols. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated checkpoints, verify credentials when required, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
