Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical-surgical telemetry unit and will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients. This includes assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with health care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical telemetry patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 12 months of recent permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Must possess an active Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
