Pediatrician - San Jose, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician to join our team. As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for examining children and young adults, addressing both minor and major health issues, monitoring growth and development, and ordering necessary tests. You will provide guidance to guardians on best health practices, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate well with a team while maintaining independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine young patients to determine their care needs

• Order and interpret tests, offer diagnoses, and provide treatment plans

• Prescribe medications, educate patients and families on treatment, side effects, and overall wellness

• Advise families on best health practices and preventive care

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records

• Collaborate closely with nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care

Qualifications:

• Current state medical license

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families

• Familiarity with medical software is desirable

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic standards and best practices for pediatric care

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
