Sanitation Supervisor – 3rd ShiftA well-established food manufacturer in the Chicago south suburbs is looking for an experienced sanitation supervisor to take ownership of third-shift sanitation operations.This is a floor-first role. The expectation is that you are present, visible, and leading from the production floor, not managing from an office. The culture here is hands-on and team-driven, and the incoming supervisor needs to match that energy from day one.What the Job InvolvesLead and supervise a sanitation team on 3rd shift across a large food manufacturing facilityMaintain compliance with all sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirementsDrive accountability and consistency across the shift through direct floor presence and active team engagementCoordinate sanitation schedules, chemical usage, and equipment cleaning protocolsPartner with production and quality teams to ensure sanitation standards are met without disrupting outputTrain, coach, and develop team members on proper procedures and safety standardsDocument sanitation activity and maintain accurate compliance recordsWhat They NeedBS/BA/AAS or an equivalent of 7+ years of sanitation leadership experience; HS/GED is required5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment requiredFood manufacturing sanitation experience is requiredHands-on leadership style with genuine comfort working on the production floorAvailability and willingness to work 3rd shift consistentlyStrong communication skills and the ability to lead a team with clarity and accountability
