As an Armed Security Officer supporting a retail location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining a professional presence at the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
