As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon - 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM Thur - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Fri - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, as assigned. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
