As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
