Scheduling Assistant

Job Title: Scheduling Assistant Location: Lancaster, PA Duration: At least 1 year Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary/Contract Overview: An exciting opportunity to join a large, well-established utility company as a Scheduling Assistant. This role plays a key part in ensuringefficient scheduling operations and exceptional customer communication. You'll serve as a central point of contact for customer inquiries and support schedulers through the entire job scheduling process. Responsibilities: Customer Communication & Support Act as the main contact for all incoming customer calls and emails Address customer inquiries and concerns directly or delegate as needed Log all customer interactions and compile weekly reporting Scheduling Support Proactively reach out to customers to support scheduling processes Clearly communicate pre-job requirements (e.g., inspection deadlines, physical site readiness, meter account setup) Schedule and confirm customer appointments, send reminders, and maintain communication logs Administrative Scheduling Tasks Assist with creating and organizing work packets Process bundled job cards Verify and remove job holds Create IVR (Interactive Voice Response) appointments Support work order close-outs Schedule temporary disconnects Investigate property damage claims and coordinate scheduling when company liability is confirmed Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience in customer service required Prior experience in scheduling or administrative support is a plus Comfortable using scheduling systems and digital platforms Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively  Pay: Up to $28/hr, based on experience Ready to get started?
