Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay rate and is ideal for candidates who are flexible and adaptable, with experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy treatments. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. The provider will collaborate with an MD and NP in a dynamic healthcare setting that is currently experiencing growth. The clinic handles approximately 18-20 patient consultations daily, with occasional inpatient consults when necessary. The role includes charting in Epic, with Ai available for charting, and requires experience with Epic software. Candidates must hold a current NY license in hand and have experience using Epic. Responsibilities include managing outpatient oncology treatments, working with a small team, ensuring compliance with unit policies, and providing exceptional patient care. Overtime may be required as needed, and cell phone use is permitted for work-related purposes.

Qualifications:

• NY License in Hand
• Epic experience required
• Flexibility to adapt to program growth
• Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
• Good work history with no gaps of 30+ days
• Physician statement on malpractice involvement if applicable
• Ensure all work history is up to date

Shift Information:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No frequent inpatient work, occasional inpatient consults
• Overtime as needed
