Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient (IP) position in a coastal area, providing outpatient therapy services within a 25-bed critical access hospital. The role involves assessing and developing treatment plans to improve patient functions, supervising assistants, and coordinating care. This position offers a scenic environment with outdoor activities and a close-knit community atmosphere. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, Saturday through Tuesday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, required if obtained license on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent; two years' Physical Therapy (PT) experience preferred; Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice, required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor, required. Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic medical record experience. Essential Functions: Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention; uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans; provides therapy interventions following protocols and techniques; develops individualized care and discharge plans; completes comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines; supervises assigned assistants; performs other job-related duties as assigned.
