We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to work on chiller units for data centers.

Schedule & Pay

Shift: 1st Shift

• Monday Thursday: 5:30 AM 3:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM 10:00 AM

Pay: $25+/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will play a key role in assembling, installing, and maintaining commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. You will work both independently and alongside a skilled team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain refrigeration piping systems
• Perform piping layout, fabrication, and system preparation
• Braze and solder refrigeration components and piping
• Assist with pressure testing and leak detection
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Collaborate with installation teams as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Strong experience in refrigeration piping and brazing
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
• Minimum of 2 years experience in pipefitting, HVAC/R, or refrigeration installation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification
• Trade school education or apprenticeship experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
