Step Into a Day on the Line
Picture this: You arrive just before 6:00 AM, run your pre-start safety checks, and power up a modern packaging line. By 6:15, you’re loading materials, pulling up order specs on the computer, and dialing in box dimensions. Throughout the morning, you’re reading blueprints and company paperwork, making fine adjustments with hand tools, and watching the machines hum as they turn raw materials into quality packaging. When a hiccup happens, your troubleshooting instincts kick in—quick, safe, effective.
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Packaging Production Machinery Operators in Oklahoma City to support a leading packaging manufacturer. If you like working with your hands, learning different machines, and seeing tangible results every day, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Appreciate- Pay: $16.00/$17.00 per hour DOE
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional overtime
- Industry: Established, growth-oriented packaging manufacturer
- Environment: Hands-on, energetic production floor
- Operate production machinery while following all safety procedures
- Learn machine functions and end-to-end production processes
- Read and interpret blueprints and company paperwork accurately
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed
- Continuously observe operations to ensure consistent quality
- Use hand tools and apply precise manual dexterity to fine-tune settings
- Enter order specifications and box dimensions into company software
- Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe
- Cross-train on additional machines to expand your skills
- Completion of New Hire Screening process
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled production setting
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Skill with tape measure and blueprint reading
- Strong commitment to safe, efficient work practices
