Assistant Nurse Manager – Critical Care Position: 1.0 FTE full‑time at Providence Portland Medical Center (Clackamas, OR). Work shift is weekdays and weekends on a day shift. Job Description The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse who reports to the unit director/manager and utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services and provides managerial presence for all shifts. The ANM manages clinical and non‑clinical caregivers and provides input to the director/manager for performance evaluation. Duties include compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements; implementing and monitoring policies, processes, and clinical priorities; coaching, mentoring, and collaborating to deliver quality health care to patients. Required Qualifications Graduate from School of Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1 2024 are encouraged to pursue a BSN degree; obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment. Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
