Maine Oxy has an immediate opening for a Class B CDL Driver!! $27-30/hour hourly pay, plus jump in with a $2500 sign on bonus! Full time, local routes, home every night and weekends, steady work, and overtime typically available!

We provide and transport oxygen for local veterinary and medical offices, carbon dioxide for local breweries, acetylene for our local welders and metal fabricators and helium for everyone's birthday parties!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes
• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement
