PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: 20 – 22 patients per day • Admissions: Yes (hospital consults)• Rounding: Included • Case Mix: Cardiac electrophysiology, heart rhythm disorders FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 268• Trauma Level: Level I–IV • EMR System: Cerner • Office Equipment Available: Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per facility guidelines REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Cardiac electrophysiology procedures • Left-sided ablations • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)• Moderate sedation • EP case management and consults JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active AZ License (IMLC accepted; willing to license)• Board: BC/BE in Electrophysiology • DEA: Active DEA required • Certifications: ACLS required • Experience: Minimum 1 year; must demonstrate recent EP case logs (100 cases in last 2 years preferred)• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X system; comfortable performing moderate sedation independently DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform electrophysiology procedures including ablations • Manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic patients • Interpret diagnostic studies and develop treatment plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac care teams • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
