Information Technology Internship

Brief Description PING is searching for students who have a combined passion for AI-driven business analysis and application development, along with a passion for the game of golf. An opportunity exists to join our Systems Innovation & Integrations team in 2027 for a summer internship offering deep immersion in applying AI tools to real business problems and building working applications. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area. High level job duties include partnering with the Systems Innovation & Integrations team to analyze real business problems, processes, and data, and translate them into clear, actionable insights, as well as building and prototyping applications that put those insights to work — using AI tools to handle the underlying engineering and data work. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of accredited math or science coursework combined with general experience in and knowledge of golf. Specific Skills Required For This Particular Internship Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills — able to frame a business question and work through it to a recommendation Interest in application development — comfortable going from an idea or business need to a working prototype or tool Enthusiastic about AI and eager to explore its applications, particularly Microsoft Copilot and Claude Comfortable directing AI tools to handle data pipeline, engineering, and app-building tasks, with enough technical literacy to evaluate and refine their output Ability to test and validate AI-generated output for accuracy and quality, and to train end users on new tools and applications Additional Information You must be willing to dedicate at least 8 weeks (40 hours per week) to the internship The internship requires you to be onsite in Phoenix, Arizona PING will be accepting applications through October 16 with interviews and final selections by year end.
