Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and support a professional presence while assigned to an armed post. Assist with de‑escalation efforts, provide directions and information to visitors, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to post orders. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Provide proof of a high‑school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
