Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Contract)
Location: California 95482
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $1,865 – $2,095/week
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
40 hours/week (5x8s), mostly Monday–Friday
Every other weekend coverage
No call
Supervise lab staff and oversee all testing/POCT operations
Ensure accuracy/validity of results and regulatory compliance
Lead quality control, QA, and lab safety programs
Manage instrumentation (installation, validation, maintenance)
Train staff and support competency development
Maintain accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, etc.)
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s in CLS/Medical Technology or related field – Required
5+ years clinical lab experience – Preferred
2+ years leadership experience – Preferred
Experience with instrumentation installation/validation – Required
Licensure/Certifications:
Active California CLS (Generalist) License – Required
ASCP or NCA Certification – Preferred
No call required
Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
$52.71 per hour
